Kaiju Alpha Beginner Guide: Controls, Cells, and First Unlocks

Kaiju Alpha is a Roblox giant-monster battleground. This beginner route focuses on things you can check in the live game rather than promising particular XP rates or a guaranteed starter reward. Learn the controls first

Use 1–5 for Skills 1–5, R for Roar 1, and T for Roar 2. Try each input with your starting kaiju in a quieter area. Note its range, recovery, and movement before entering a crowded fight. Abilities differ by kaiju, so a combo from one monster is not automatically transferable to another.

Set a first-session goal

1. Open the in-game menu and inspect the current roster and unlock requirements. Pick one reachable kaiju as your first target; do not assume an older guide's Cell price or level requirement is still current.
2. If you have a code to try, enter it in the game's Options menu before a focused session. Our codes page separates reported codes from confirmed redemptions; availability may change without notice.
3. Play active fights and watch the in-game EXP and Cells counters to learn which encounters are productive for your kaiju. A temporary boost, if one is actually active, is more useful during a session you can spend fighting than while idle.
4. Recheck your selected unlock's live requirements before spending accumulated Cells. Some unlocks have special objectives: Monster Zero's skull route is one example, and the map changed in August 2026.

There is no verified universal XP-per-hour table or guaranteed first-hour level target. Server population, your kaiju, updates, and any active boost can all change the result. The Cells farming guide covers combat positioning and resource planning without treating estimates as fixed payouts.

Build combat habits

Start with spacing and cooldown awareness. Observe where a ranged or area skill can reach before committing, and avoid chasing one opponent across the map for an entire boost window. In a crowded fight, keep an exit route and learn when your roars are useful for the kaiju you are playing. The controls section on the homepage lists the verified key layout; individual ability effects should be checked in the live game.
